Returns Policy
We want you to be confident in the marine products you purchase from Sawickipedia Marine. If an item is not right for you, please review the requirements below and contact us before sending it back.
30-Day Return Window
Most new, unused products may be returned within 30 calendar days of delivery for a refund. Returned merchandise must be in clean, complete, resalable condition and include the original packaging, manuals, accessories, cables, warranty cards, tags, and other materials supplied with the product.
Products that have been installed, mounted, wired, powered on for commissioning, programmed, registered, damaged, altered, or show signs of attempted installation are considered used and are not eligible for a standard return.
Start a Return
- Contact us within the return window. Include your order number, the item you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Wait for return authorization and shipping instructions. Returns sent without prior authorization may be refused or delayed.
- Pack the item securely inside an outer shipping carton. Do not place shipping labels directly on the manufacturer's product packaging.
- Ship the package using a trackable service and retain your receipt and tracking number until the return is complete.
Return Shipping and Fees
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless the product arrived damaged, defective, or different from the item ordered. If we provide a prepaid return label for a customer-preference return, its cost may be deducted from the refund. Original shipping, freight, delivery, installation, and expedited-shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return resulted from our error.
There is no restocking fee for eligible merchandise returned in new, complete, resalable condition. We may reduce or decline a refund if an item is incomplete, damaged, used, or missing its original packaging or accessories.
Damaged, Incorrect, or Defective Products
Inspect your order promptly after delivery. If an item arrives damaged, is incorrect, or appears defective, contact us within 5 calendar days of delivery and keep all packaging. Please include your order number, a description of the issue, and clear photographs of the product and shipping carton when applicable.
Many marine products are covered by a manufacturer's warranty. After the initial return period—or when manufacturer troubleshooting or authorization is required—we will help coordinate warranty support, repair, or replacement with the manufacturer. Warranty eligibility and remedies are determined by the manufacturer's terms.
Non-Returnable Items
The following items are not eligible for return unless they arrived damaged or were supplied incorrectly:
- Products that have been installed, wired, mounted, programmed, activated, registered, altered, or show signs of attempted installation
- Special-order, custom-configured, personalized, or made-to-order products
- Opened software, digital products, license keys, unlock codes, charts, maps, and downloadable content
- Cut-to-length goods, opened sealed products, and products with expiration dates
- Hazardous materials, flares, chemicals, paints, and other products subject to shipping restrictions
- Clearance, closeout, discontinued, or final-sale merchandise when identified as such at purchase
- Gift cards
- Completed diagnostic, programming, delivery, installation, and other service labor
Refunds
We will inspect authorized returns after they arrive. Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method, typically within 5–10 business days after inspection. Your bank or card issuer may require additional time to post the credit. We will notify you if a return does not meet this policy or if a deduction is required.
Exchanges
For the fastest exchange, place a new order for the replacement item and return the original item under this policy. The eligible return will be refunded to the original payment method after inspection.
Order Cancellations
Contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel an order. We will try to stop fulfillment, but an order that has already shipped must be handled as a return. Special-order or custom items may not be cancellable after the supplier has accepted the order.
Policy Abuse
Sawickipedia Marine reserves the right to refuse a return or limit future service when there is evidence of fraud, misuse, excessive returns, policy abuse, or damage caused by improper handling or installation.
